School Meals
The current cost of a school meal is £3.40 per day. Meals must be paid for in advance, weekly or termly. Please pay online by ParentPay.
Our meals are provided by Derbyshire County Council. Each day there is a meat option, vegetarian option and the option of a filled jacket potato.
The meals are delicious and portion size is generous. It is testament to the meals that many staff eat them each day!
Free School Meals
Free school meals are changing from September 2026.
There will no longer be any protection on Free School Meals as there has been during the roll out of Universal Credit.
There will be Targeted Free School Dinners (for those in receipt of certain benefits) and Expanded Free School Meals (for all children living in a household where parents are in receipt of Universal Credit). Children who are in receipt of Targeted Free School Dinners will also be entitled to Pupil Premium.

This will only need to be completed once for each child in your family.
All parents will need to re-apply for Free School Dinners prior to 1st September 2026 to confirm eligibility.
Medical Diets
If your child/children need a special diet due to medical needs, please speak to Miss Willmott in the office in the first instance. Our kitchen staff are able to make these adaptations.
