Homework

Weekly homework will be given out each Friday and must be handed in each Wednesday in all classes.

If the child finds the homework too difficult parents should ensure they make a proper attempt for the full time allocation and then write a brief note to the teacher under the work. If the child is finding it too easy a brief note to the teacher under the work will be helpful.

Daily Reading Diaries:

KS1 Parents are asked to write the name of the reading book and the page numbers that were read each day, followed by their signature. They can add other comments if they wish but this is not essential.

KS2 pupils themselves can complete the details of the book they are reading and the page numbers they have read but the parents should still sign to say they have read.
